Cilantro Coleslaw

This recipe is the best of the best type of salads that whole family love eating everyday, especially my husband. The simple reason, it is loaded with taste, and flavor. So, that is reason why I want to write about it.

There is nothing better than a plate of Cilantro Coleslaw served on dinner table to enjoy with family, right? The good recipe is easy to make. That is the perfect combination among ingredients such as green cabbage, purple cabbage, cilantro, carrot, onion and others. All of them are gathered in a bowl, and mix evenly together. After a few minutes and simple step without any effort, and a delicious salad dish is ready for serving immediately.

Cilantro Coleslaw

  • Vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons agave (or sugar)

  • Slaw
  • 3 green onions, sliced thin on an angle

  • 2 cups thinly sliced green cabbage

  • 2 carrots, peeled and julienned

  • 2 cups thinly sliced purple cabbage

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro

  • kosher salt, to taste


  • In a large bowl, add the lime juice and agave, and slowly pour in the olive oil while whisking.
  • Next, add in the cabbages, carrots, green onions and cilantro. Toss to combine, taste and season with salt as under your taste.
